Beachside Cabin 8

It’s a perfect location to the beach and close to everything we needed. Our girls are still little, so the space was just what we needed. We would definitely come back again.

Our stay was wonderful!!! The unit is a little outdated, bit it was perfect, everything worked and the staff was so nice and helpful. We hope to stay again really soon!

The place is a bit too small, although there was enough shelves and storage for things. The bedroom closet was hard to get to.

Grand Traverse Bay is special with the East Bay being a bit more quiet. took a long kayak paddle with not a ripple!

We loved our weekend getaway at this unit! Being able to walk outside and be a stones-throw away from private beach frontage on the Grand Traverse Bay and being just a short drive away from the heart of Traverse City was amazing. The property owners/mamagers were very on top of check in/check out instructions and we were never left wondering what we needed to do. I would absolutely stay here again.

Lovely vintage beachfront motel/cabins. We very much enjoyed our rental with private beach. The vibe is very much like the small summer vacation rentals of my childhood. We were there in late September just off season and felt like we had the beach almost to ourselves. Weather was beautiful and was still able to swim in Lake Michigan comfortably.

The beachside condo was great! Super cozy, close to downtown, and so pretty being able to wake up to the sound of waves crashing on the shore.

We couldn’t even stay longer than 30 minutes in the condo. It smelled bad, it was sketchy and very small. It just didn’t look like the pictures to me. I got a text at 9:30am that our room was ready and the door was unlocked and the key was inside. So I asked if we could check in earlier since it’s ready but they said it would be $75 to come an hour early so we decided it’s not worth it. It just seems very unsafe to have the door unlocked all that tile before we arrived. Also the electrical box was in the bathroom which is very dangerous and it would be bad if any moisture got in it. Very disappointed. We ended up booking a hotel down the road because we didn’t feel safe staying there.

Great spot on the East Bay. We liked that it was quiet and had almost 100 feet of beach to ourselves the whole stay. We loved going out into the water and watching the sunset. The tart trail is right across the street. Go jump on the trail and head to Downtown Traverse.
