Very small space but perfect if it’s just being used to sleep. Right on a beautiful. quiet beach. Host was very responsive with questions / concerns I had. The place (cottage 4) could definitely use some updating compared to the other cottages in the complex.

This was a great cabin just steps away from Lake Michigan and made for perfect walks on the beach and sunsets. The free parking on site was very convenient and city center is a just 5 minute drive away. The place was just as described and very convenient for a long weekend stay. Will definitely be back!

Great spot with a beach, easily accessible with plenty of stores, cafes and restaurants, grocery stores nearby. Cottage is not very updated, but completely serviceable. Could use more hooks, especially in main/living room, as there's not much storage or places to organize your things. The rooms don't get very dark at night if you're sensitive to that. Kitchen has limited essentials like Pam and salt. Porch and picnic tables were nice for morning coffee/breakfast. Beach is fantastic - nice and wide and groomed. One of the keys didn't work so we made do with just one.

We stayed in cottage #4. The location is great and the beach was the main attraction for us knowing that we would not spend very much time in the house. The price was reasonable for waterfront property. Checkin was easy, communication was good and snacks were provided. In hindsight, we likely would give up waterfront property in favor of better living accommodations for an equivalent price. Although it can sleep 4, the place is really ideal for 2 people only. There was very little room to place all of our stuff and the beds were very uncomfortable (especially the pullout couch). All of the doors need work to open and shut properly. All of the plumbing fixtures look newer but are piped backwards. The right handles are hot water and the left are cold (should be reversed). This is easily understood for most by trial and error at the sinks . Although, after 2 cold showers we realized the shower handle needs to be dialed to “C” to get hot water and “H” to get cold water. The shower was the smallest we have ever used as you are very close to the wall. The curtain must be very carefully aligned to the wall and the basin to keep the water contained. We are a very short family and could not reach the microwave on top of the fridge. Only one of use could reach. We were provided a parking spot next to the cottage which was great but one night we were asked to move to another spot near the main road because the garbage is right next to our cottage and the truck needed to get access. All in all, we did enjoy a beautiful sunset on the beach and the house was a safe place to stay in an excellent location but we were expecting a little better accommodations for the price.
